A pregnant mom who ordered a $66 (USD $45) cake for her baby shower was left in tears after it arrived and looked nothing like the photo.
The woman is expecting her third child and ordered a dessert made of cupcakes with a fondant top in the shape of a baby body.
But instead, she received what was described as a “cheaper” version of the advertised cake and shared an image on Facebook.
“I’m crying my baby shower is tomorrow,” she wrote.
Despite the frustrating situation, other moms gave their advice ahead of the event on how to save the cake. Others felt that the mother overreacted.

It’s definitely salvageable!! Maybe add some blue edible pearls to the dots and white over the leg part?’ suggested a woman.
Others criticized the baker for “messing up” the dessert.
“Wow it was a really simple task and they completely butchered it,” one wrote.
It’s a very simple design to screw up!!! And I really hope you asked for blue at least?’ said another.
But a third added: “It’s not that bad. No one will remember the cake.’
Another encouraged the mother to “enjoy the event” and the cake issue “isn’t that serious.”
Someone else added how the cake will be enjoyed regardless of what it looks like.
“It looks like the picture on the right (the advertised image) and honestly anyone is going to pull that cake apart and ruin it anyway since it’s all cupcakes,” added another.

In a now-viral video the Irish nurse shared a picture of what she wanted compared to what she got – and thousands were left in disbelief.
It’s fair to say she wasn’t impressed with the “failed” attempt at what is considered a “simple” request.
Instead of looking like the number ’30’, the ‘3’ looks like a sideways ‘m’ and the ‘0’ doesn’t even have a hole in the middle.
The baker also decided to place the icing on the edge of the cake with small white edible florets.
In the video’s caption, Megan also used the hashtags “cake fail,” “go wrong,” and “funny.”
