She got weepy on her radio show and said, “All I want to do is keep going big leaps in my career, but now I’m like,” What am I supposed to do? “
“Am I thinking about my career or thinking about having a child?”
WHAT IS POLYCYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME?
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common condition that affects how a woman’s ovaries work, which can lead to fertility problems.
The three main features of PCOS are:
Irregular periods – meaning the ovaries don’t release eggs regularly (ovulation). This can affect a woman’s ability to become pregnant.
Excess androgen – high content of ‘male hormones’ in the body, which can cause physical signs such as excessive facial or body hair.
Polycystic Ovaries – The ovaries are enlarged and contain many fluid-filled sacs (follicles) that surround the eggs and can prevent them from being released. It’s important to note that, despite the name, if you have PCOS, you don’t actually have cysts.
