Louisa announced in March that she was pregnant in a Mother’s Day post on Instagram, in which she said, “Dear mom, if I’m a fraction of the mom you are, I know I’ll be the best.
You held my hand for 32 years, taught me right from wrong, corrected my spelling and helped me see the light at the end of every turn.
“And now you’re going to guide me to become a mummy. (Don’t try to move in or Ben will leave).’

Louisa revealed earlier this month that she struggled both mentally and physically during the early stages of pregnancy.
The EastEnders star told The mirror: ‘The first 12 weeks were difficult. It was a whirlwind of worry, panic and illness. ‘
She continued, “I was sick in the morning and nauseous all day. The only thing that wouldn’t make me feel sick anymore was food!’
Louisa also spoke out about her decision to cancel her marriage to fiancé Ben, citing the pandemic and her pregnancy as a factor.
She explains: ‘We had already postponed it twice and I didn’t want to put off having children any longer.

“I’ve always wanted to get married before having kids because of tradition, but sometimes things get taken off your hands.”
Speak with OK! Magazine in May, Louisa shared how the couple had already had to cancel the ceremony twice thanks to the pandemic, so now they’re waiting for them to be “done.”
She said, “We’ve canceled the wedding altogether now. We decided to scrap the whole thing and start over with our plans.
“We’re going to have the baby and focus on that and then get married when we’re ready.
New plan: Speak with OK! Magazine in May told Louisa how the couple had already had to cancel the ceremony twice thanks to the pandemic, so now they are waiting for them to be ‘done’
“We’d already postponed it twice and the wedding we were supposed to have is huge – we had almost 200 people.”
Louisa added that the past year has “put everything in perspective,” adding that there are bigger things going on in the world.
The actress said Ben is “really chill” about fatherhood, although he was shocked when she first told him she was pregnant.
Louisa was grateful that her fiancé could accompany her on both her 12- and 20-week scans and said she prays that both Ben and her mother will be allowed to join her in the delivery room when the baby is born.
She revealed that her co-stars Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater, and James Bye, who plays Martin Fowler, were the first people on the EastEnders set she told she was ready to be a mother.
Lacey is a mother of two and has already given Louisa some advice on becoming a mother, while the actress says Lacey has “really helped me.”
