She is expecting her second biological child with husband Rio Ferdinand this year.
And Kate Ferdinand opened up about motherhood during a performance at The Baby Show parenting show in London on Saturday.
The former TOWIE star, 31, already shares son Cree, two, with her footballer husband and is stepmom to his three children Lorenz, 16, Tate, 14, and Tia, 11.
The pregnant star took part in a live podcast during the event and recalled having a “mini breakdown” around the time of her first delivery as she struggled to become a mother of four.
Kate shared that she didn’t take enough time for herself and became exhausted worrying about the kids, recalling that she “lost herself.”

Kate looked stunning at the event as she showed off her growing baby bump in a form-fitting khaki bodysuit.
She wore stretchy black cargo pants on top as she placed a supportive hand over the bump for some shots.
At the event, she appeared on stage with Zoe Blaskey for a live edition of podcast Motherkind, where she talked about her own experiences.
While the host asked how she was, Kate shared that she brought 11-year-old Tia to the event.
“Some days are great and some days are just utter exhaustion. But today is great, maybe because not all the kids are here. Tia is here, my daughter Tia, she asked me to give her a shoutout,’ she began.
Host Zoe asked how she managed to successfully navigate a blended family with Rio and his children, who he shared with his late wife Rebecca Ellison, who died of cancer in 2015.
Kate admitted that things weren’t smooth sailing and remembered that she put so much effort into making sure all the kids were okay that she didn’t have time for herself.
Looking back on that time, she shared, “I physically felt like I was having a mini breakdown and I didn’t even know how to make time for myself. I lost myself, I couldn’t even dress myself.’

But now that she’s taking the time to go to the gym and enjoy activities on her own, Kate has managed to find a healthier balance.
And that sharing the birth of her son Cree has brought the family closer together as a unit, she admitted that there were initial concerns about his arrival.
“When Cree came along, we were a little nervous because he’s my first biological child, so we didn’t know how he would fit into the mix, but it’s just been amazing and has brought us all closer together,” she explained.
Continued: ‘It’s just a madhouse, it’s full of fun and laughter and madness. I can’t take a shower in peace, I look at tia when I say that. So now I announce when I’m going to take a shower and I say “maybe I’ll come in when you’re showering” and they usually stop doing that.’
Kate also hosts a podcast of her own Blended, which is to support and chat with other families who have blended children.
She shared how she and Rio managed to get to where they are today, defining it as, “Leading with the heart, consistency and just really being a team.”
