Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey welcomed a new dog to their growing family on Thursday.
The Emmy Award winner, 37 – who is filming a new series called Based on a true story – revealed on her Instagram story that the couple rescued a chihuahua named Opal.
The Big Bang Theory alum shared an image of herself cuddling with her new pup with the caption, “Thanks @deityanimalresuce and a great foster @thisisdarragh for bringing me this angel.”
The animal lover added, “We did something again. We welcome Miss Opal (little female) to our growing family.”
The Flight Attendant star – who is currently expecting her first child, a girl, with Ozark actor Pelphrey, 40 – shared a funny video of the new pup clawing another dog named Dumpy in the face.

The actress wrote, “She’s hilarious and already tortures every dog in this house.”
The new little Chihuahua soon seemed to have developed a special bond with Pelphrey’s dog Blue.
“She won’t leave him alone,” Cuoco wrote on another slide.
In another shot, Kaley was holding one of her dogs named Dumps, who didn’t seem happy with the new arrival.
In yet another image, Opal appeared comfortable playing with two other small dogs in the backyard.
Kaley wrote the snap, “Thinks she’s already running the backyard, lol.”
It is not known exactly how many dogs the actress has in total. In a 2021 interview with Variety she said she’s afraid to say the number in case it’s an “illegal amount.”
“I can’t say how much I have because I’m afraid they’ll come knocking and say it’s an illegal amount,” she said at the time.

Her new series, Based on a True Story, is an upcoming comedy show inspired by a bizarre true event. It will stream on Peacock.
The series centers on a realtor, a plumber and a former tennis star whose lives converge in a story that explores America’s obsession with serial killers and true crime.
Last October, Kaley and Tom announced they were expecting a baby girl after dating for just five months.
Kaley and Tom met in April at the Ozark season four premiere. Their manager framed them and the rest was history.
“I heard his voice, and I turned around, and it was like my life was over, or just beginning,” Kaley said. USA today in May.
And then, six months later, the happy couple announced they were expecting.
“Baby girl Pelphrey is coming in 2023,” Kaley wrote in a series of Instagram snaps in October.
