Pregnant Holly Kingston has hit back at trolls who criticised her diet as she travels to Italy on holiday with husband Jimmy Nicholson.
The former Bachelor star has been sharing her delicious meals while playing tourist in Rome, but not everyone has been appreciating her selections.
In an Instagram Stories post on Tuesday, the 30-year-old lashed out after receiving “thousands” of messages about what she’s been eating.
“I’m just going to clarify this quickly for anyone following our travels right now because my DMs are a little overwhelming. PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT ON WHAT I SHOULD AND SHOULD NOT EAT, I CAN DO THAT,” she wrote.
“I have a wonderful obstetrician who advises me and I also have an amazing tool called Google, which saves me the time of texting and saves me the bombardment,” she continued.
“If you’ve been pregnant and been given unsolicited advice, you know how stressful and awkward it can be. Imagine that and having thousands of people you’ve never met imply that you’re ignorant or a failure. It’s not fun.”
Holly concluded: ‘Even though these DMs are made with love, when you get hundreds of them a day, it becomes a dark place for me.
‘Now I’m going to eat a beef carpaccio with a big jug of unpasteurized milk!’

In July, Holly was rushed to hospital after “complications” arose with her pregnancy.
Despite mentioning that there were some “warning signs” that indicated the lovebirds needed a checkup, the marketing manager assured fans that the baby was “healthy.”
Holly’s first post on her Stories was a video showing her lying in a hospital bed wearing a hospital gown.
She captioned the short clip: ‘So the last few days have been a whirlwind and to be honest pretty awful.
“First and foremost, baby is healthy and thriving,” she concluded before sharing a photo of her and Jimmy cuddled in the hospital bed.

“I’ve spent the last few days in the ER due to some complications which certainly reiterated that growing a baby is hard work on the body,” she wrote.
Holly went on to warn her followers to “pay attention to any warning signs” with her body during pregnancy and was effusive about the support she received from Jimmy.
“At times like these I realize that my husband has been trained to deal with stressful situations like a true professional,” she continued.
‘He’s created makeshift vomit bags in milliseconds, delivered nuggets to me on demand, and made me laugh when you’d think there wasn’t much to laugh about.
‘I’m happy to be home with a healthy, recovering baby.’
Jimmy and Holly fell in love on the 2021 season of The Bachelor Australia, and the couple tied the knot at his parents’ home in Sydney in August 2023.
