Pregnant Gemma Atkinson shows off her baby bump as she reveals she’s gained 2.5 stone

Gemma Atkinson showed off her blossoming baby bump while in Manchester on Saturday when she revealed she’s gained 2.5 pounds ‘so far’.

The former Hollyoaks star, 38, who will soon give birth to her second child with fiancé Gorka Marquez, looked chic in a tied white crop top that showed off her perfect round bump.

The Hits Radio presenter, who is currently on maternity leave, revealed on Instagram that she weighed 71kg when she found out she was pregnant, and now weighs 88.7kg.

Gemma paired her top with a pair of low-waisted flared orange pants with a pink and orange floral pattern, adding to the summer aesthetic of the outfit.

She combined the outfit with navy blue and white sliders and opted for comfort while maintaining her summer style.

The soap queen completed her look with black oversized sunglasses, which shielded her eyes from the bright sun.

She scraped her dyed blonde locks back into a long ponytail and wore a little bit of makeup.

The starlet was a woman on the move, walking and talking on the phone as she completed her daily tasks.

On the same day, Gemma took to her Instagram Stories where she revealed to fans that she had gained 2.5 pounds during her pregnancy.

She explained, “I’ve been tracking my weight throughout this pregnancy, just because I’m really interested in the body and stuff.

And to put it in perspective, when I found out I was pregnant I weighed 71kg, which is about 11kg. Yesterday I weighed 88.7 kg, about 13.8 (stone), so about 13 and a half stone.

“So yeah, two and a half bricks I’ve put on so far,” before adding, “My health is perfect and that’s what’s important.”

The outing comes after the actress revealed she was ready to embrace maternity leave as she relaxed in the sun with Gorka and daughter Mia.

Gemma showed off her growing belly in a black lace bra as she hung out in the garden munching on a packet of cookies.

Beside her, Gorka and Mia enjoyed their breakfast al fresco at an outdoor dining table, all making the most of the British heat wave.

Gemma wore her blonde hair in a messy bun and shielded her eyes from the sun’s rays with oversized sunglasses.

She captioned the clip of her food: ‘Mat leave me happy!’

Earlier this year, Gemma admitted that Gorka was “afraid he might hurt the baby” when they got frisky during her pregnancy in a hilarious confession.

The presenter frankly discussed the couple’s sex life in an interview in April.

Speaking on Steph’s packed lunch, Gemma joked that she told Gorka, “it’s not going to get there!” as she joins expert Dr. Patel joined the show.

Gemma, who is expecting a boy, joked: ‘The first time he was with my dude he was always afraid he’d hurt the baby and I’d say ‘don’t flatter yourself, it’s not going to be all the way there!’

“I know that’s not going to happen, but this time I asked a lot more questions.”

She continued frankly: a lady told me that having an orgasm during pregnancy is fantastic, it’s like a little massage for the baby.

“But then someone else said it’s terrible because your uterus is contracting and you could crush the baby. Is it safe to go through the whole trimester during pregnancy?’

Dr. Patel assured the former soap star that she could have sex just fine, adding that some women are very excited when they are pregnant due to the high levels of hormones released.

She replied, ‘Well, that’s good news for Gorka! In the beginning like when you say about hormones when I first found out I was pregnant that was a reason I knew because my hormone levels were high and I was like “come on!” don’t keep away from him.

“At this stage I couldn’t think of anything worse at the moment, but it’s great to know that if and when it happens it’s safe, which takes the pressure off you, relaxes you more, definitely makes it more fun. ‘
