Mirror reports that Mel, 48, and Emily had a “cold” relationship which led to a “tense” argument during filming in the US.

A source told the publication: ‘Once on set, their personalities definitely clashed and there was a fight which was witnessed by several members of the crew. At that moment there was no turning back.

Filming the brand was incredibly difficult as the trio took on tough physical challenges on the 800-mile trek.

While a second claimed the BBC was hoping to recreate the on-screen chemistry of Gordon Ramsay, Gino D’Acampo and ITV’s Fred Sirieix.
