Charlotte Crosby was left heartbroken after the tragic death of her grandmother on Boxing Day.
The pregnant Geordie Shore star, 34, took to Instagram on Friday to share a photo of herself with her dad’s mother and baby daughter Alba as she paid tribute to the “most loving member of the family”.
In a heartfelt statement, Charlotte spoke about the love she had for her beloved grandmother and told how the whole family would miss her dearly.
She wrote: “Last night we lost an amazing, kind, wonderful woman and the most loving member of the family.
‘Always incredibly proud of me and my achievements! And always the first to brag about me. I will never forget how supportive he was of me! We will miss you very much. She loved little Alba very much.’
Meanwhile, Charlotte’s father Gary shared his own tribute to his mother, explaining what her 80th birthday would have been like the day after her death.

Alongside a slew of photos of his mother over the years, he wrote: “My mom would have turned 80 today, she passed away last night. I feel carried away by pain and sadness. I was very close to my mom, she was simply the best mom anyone could have.
‘She loved Christmas and made ours, when we were children, very special and memorable. A kind, generous and gentle lady. Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Also a true friend to many she knew.’
Speaking further about his beloved mother, he continued: ‘She struggled in later life with terrible arthritis and challenging mental health, but never lost her friendly smile and loving nature.
‘My mother was kind, considerate and always kind to people; honest, hard-working and loved her family and friends very much. Things in life we should all aspire to do. Qualities that make the world a better place.
‘I hope he is now with his mum and dad (Alice and Ozzie) and his dog Holly. No more pain, no more suffering.’
The sad death comes just two years after Charlotte announced the death of her grandmother Jean.
