“The news has hit everyone who knew her like a sledgehammer,” the GoFundMe states.
“Lauren was the most incredible mom, she dedicated her life to her boys and she homeschooled them with so much patience and passion.
“Anyone who has met them can feel the love and respect between them all. She will be greatly missed by all, especially her family.
“The loss of such a kind person and wonderful mother will be felt forever.”
The page provided an update stating that since her death, the four boys are “doing as well as can be expected given the circumstances.”
Her husband Ben Thompson told Courier Mail her uterus had grown into her previous C-section scar and it wasn’t picked up on any scan, making what happened come as a complete shock.
“I can’t believe she’s gone,” he said.
“We have four boys, ages two to nine… The little ones have no idea where their mother has gone.”
The cause of death remains in the hands of the coroner, but it is clear that the placenta grew too deep into the uterine wall and caused a rupture of the uterus.
Mr Thompson said medical staff initially believed his wife would survive the ordeal, but this was not the case.

After she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, the boys and Mr. Thompson entered the room to kiss her goodbye.
“They all said, ‘love you mama’. I don’t think they really understood… I ran her hand through it.’ said Mr. Thompson.
The father-of-four said his partner was a superwoman who homeschooled the boys and “made everything look so easy.”
“People say in such a casual way that their wife is their other half, but she was really mine,” he said.
Both Lauren and Hannah will be cremated together and funds from the GoFundMe campaign will help with funeral costs and continued support for the boys.
