The Portuguese captain marked Cristiano Jr’s birthday by asking them to continue their training sessions on June 17 – a fear dispelled by their latest photos together.
Ronaldo posted on Instagram stories and used the most followed account in the world to share snaps of his son trading a pass with him and sitting on a ball and tying his shoelaces.

Manchester United tied the youngster to a professional contract shortly after Ronaldo was signed
On a day when many Premier League players were returning for season preparation, the pair trained on a tidy grass pitch and Ronaldo raced through slalom poles wearing a signature look of determination and focus.
Ronaldo Jr had played for Juventus’ academy before his superstar father made his shocking return from the Italian club to Old Trafford at the end of the 2021 summer transfer window.
Less than six months later, the precocious attacker, who was born in San Diego in 2010, followed in Ronaldo’s footsteps by signing his first professional deal when he came to United’s academy.

Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, joined Ronaldo Jr at his official unveiling by the club for which he had already appeared in several matches after the family moved to Manchester.
Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has said he will not pressure his son to become a footballer.
The youngster kept Ronaldo company during a garden training session, while the Portuguese captain observed himself in isolation after contracting Covid in 2020.
