A single ticket sold in Western Australia won the $30 million Division One jackpot in Thursday’s Powerball draw.
The winning numbers were 33, 5, 8, 22, 14, 9 and 1, with Powerball being number 2.
The Division One prize pool amounted to $30 million, with the sole winner taking the entire amount.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 134 million, requiring players to match all seven winning numbers plus the Powerball in a single game.
In addition to the top prize in Division One, major prizes were distributed among the lower divisions.
In the Second Division there were seven winners, each of whom raised $92,622.60. Another 97 players won $8,309.95 in the Third Division.
Division Four recorded 1,434 winners, each taking home $488.80, while 2,934 Division Five winners claimed $179.15 each.
Division Six had 43,192 winners, each pocketing $76.25, and 57,361 Division Seven winners received $44.60.
