“Two-thirds of those winning entries were QuickPick, where the numbers are picked for you by the computer when you buy a ticket.”
Mr. Hart also said that syndicates have performed well this year, with a third of the first division winners being part of a group.
Also accounting for a third of 2022 wins were unique Powerhit entries, which guarantee that one of your songs is the all-important Powerball.

“It’s hard to put into words the feeling that you’ve won $40 million. I don’t think it really happened to me yet.’
She revealed that her ticket had actually been a gift and that she didn’t immediately check the numbers before calling them.

“There was certainly a lot of cheering and tears!”
