The Sunflower hitmaker – born Austin Richard Post – drank Bud Light during the magazine interview when he was asked what his thoughts were on the controversy surrounding the popular beer.
He said, “There is no comfort in this world, so I’m going to do the little things that put me at ease. I’m going to drink that damn beer!’

It had sparked a backlash from American conservatives who had wanted to push the boycott because they felt the sponsorship was too “political” as Mulvaney had advocated for transgender rights.
The setback caused Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch, to lose $400 million in sales — even as their overall U.S. sales fell 10.5 percent from the year before.
Post has a long-standing relationship with the beer company as he started as one of their key influencers in 2018.
In 2019, the rapper even had his face on a can of Bud Light, a collector’s item among his millions of fans.
The popular rapper is such a big fan of drinking that he even includes it in his life goal.
He explained: ‘When you’re just with your boys, and you say, “Let’s have a couple of beers, let’s do some mushrooms,” and you turn on the night vision goggles, and then damn you look up and you’re like: “Oh my God. It’s amazing. Next level.”
