Jocelyn Villanueva died in the crash alongside her partner Gregory Miller, Jamie Ogden, Grant Kuhnemann and pilot David Kerr.

The group had left on Friday in a Bell UH-1H helicopter from Brisbane, but disappeared from the radar near Anna Bay in Port Stephens before they could reach their destination in Sydney.

A dramatic search and rescue mission for the group turned Saturday into a recovery after emergency workers could see the wreck – making them aware that there was no chance of anyone surviving the crash.

Mr. Ogden's brother, Darren, also described his brother or sister as someone who loved life and had made the career change from senior police officer to financial planner.

Kerr was the pilot of the helicopter, an army green Vietnam warplane nicknamed & # 39; Huey & # 39; that he had recovered himself.

The plane was used as a helicopter in movies, with Mr. Kerr thinking of taking his guests on a routine & # 39; ferry flight & # 39; in dangerous wind conditions, with gusts of wind up to 125 kilometers per hour.

Flight tracking data indicated that the helicopter was running at 70 knots and 3500 ft before falling at 154 knots.

Kerr was a very experienced pilot who had previously operated Brisbane Helicopters from Archerfield Airport.

The helicopter's tail rotor was found on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock in the morning by an NSW police boat, after which the somewhat submerged main frame was observed by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter forty-five minutes later.
