The cause of death of porn star Jesse Jane has finally been revealed more than six months after she was found unconscious alongside her boyfriend.
The 43-year-old adult film star, whose real name is Cindy Taylor, and her partner, Brett Hasenmueller, were found dead by authorities in late January after police were called to their address in the town of Moore, Oklahoma, for a welfare check.
Officers said at the time Hasenmuller had not shown up for work for several days when they entered the residence and found them both dead.
It has since been revealed that both Jane and her boyfriend suffered an accidental overdose of fentanyl and cocaine; the Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner noted that her body was already decomposing when it was found, according to The one from Oklahoma.

Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Jane signed a contract in 2002 with Digital Playground and went on to star in Pirates and Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge.
TMZ reported that the films cost around $8 million to produce and are considered the most expensive adult films to date.
This exhibition launched her to stardom, appearing on the cover of magazines such as FHM, Maxim and Front.

“I got into porn at the perfect time, when porn stars mattered,” she said. he told GQ in 2018.
“Everyone knew who you were because they had to buy your product or your DVDs, everything,” Jane explained.
“Porn was very naughty, but everyone watched it.”
Oklahoma police were called to a residence after colleagues reported that her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller, had not shown up for work for several days.
Jane was married to fellow porn actor Rick Patrick for seven years, but the couple divorced in 2012.
Several years later, in 2020, Jane was arrested for allegedly attacking her then-boyfriend during an alcohol-fueled fight.
The star was booked into Cleveland County Jail on a domestic violence charge following the alleged incident.
Police who responded to the couple’s home that morning found the porn star’s boyfriend standing in the doorway with a bloody left eye and bite marks on his left hand.
When interviewed by police, Jane reportedly gave a different version of events, claiming that her boyfriend lifted her by the neck and threw her against a wall.
He is currently survived by one son.

‘She had an energy that was simply unmatched, she was a wonderful person and always made me smile and feel loved, you could always feel her presence the moment she walked into the room.
‘We worked together on numerous occasions and, in fact, made some of the most important films this business and the world will ever see.
‘This news is a sign that the golden days of the industry are definitely over.
‘I am very happy and grateful to have been part of an era where there was a sense of family and camaraderie.

Alana Evans, president of the Adult Performance Artists Guild (APAG), also told Rolling Stone: “Jesse was a megastar. She was discovered on the Hawaiian Tropics pageant.
‘Although she quickly became a porn sensation, it didn’t go to her head. She was as sweet as could be.
‘I remember breaking down in tears at the movie premiere because I wasn’t in the cast, but she snuck me up onto the VIP balcony with the cast so I could watch the movie with her up there.
“It was the first time any of us had seen something like that on a big screen, and I remember how proud I was.”
Meanwhile, adult film director Joone, who directed the Pirates films starring Jane, told X: ‘I am heartbroken by the loss of my friend, Jesse Jane, who was an extraordinary person and a phenomenal artist.
“She touched so many lives with her grace and beauty, her infectious laugh and a smile that lit up the world. I am honored to have known her and been her friend.”
Friends also remembered Hasenmueller as a “good guy” with an “incredible soul.”
Tributes to Hasenmueller were also posted on social media.
One person shared a photo of him and said: ‘Damn I’m speechless my heart aches for you my friend Brett D. Hasenmueller.
‘You were such a good boy and you had such an amazing soul. You weren’t just my friend, you were my brother, you were my family.
‘I could always count on you if I needed anything or just needed a friend to chat with or when we would meet up out and about to catch up on life and see when and where the next time would be.
‘I love you brother, rest in peace until we meet again.’
Another said: ‘Brett D. Hasenmueller personified unwavering support, with a heart of gold that touched everyone.
‘Always ready with a smile, a comforting hug, and a collection of dad jokes. Here’s a reminder to hug your loved ones today, because tomorrow isn’t promised.
