Popular snack sold in Australian supermarkets pulled from shelves over allergy fears

A popular snack has been recalled for an undeclared allergen.

Nocelle Foods Nature’s Delight Ranger Mix 400g has been recalled.

The product contains the undeclared peanut allergen.

“Any consumer who has an allergy or intolerance to cashew may have a reaction if they consume the product,” the Food Standards Australia and New Zealand recall states.

The product has been available for sale at independent food retailers in South Australia and Western Australia.

Stores include Drakes, Foodland, IGA, IPS, Barossa Fresh, Marla Travelers Rest, Basil’s Fine Foods and Dulwich Grocery.

“Consumers who have a cashew allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” the alert states.

‘Consumers must return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
