A popular TV presenter who worked with Channel Ten red carpet reporter Jesse Baird is “shocked” by his sudden disappearance after sharing an office with him for years.
Baird and his Qantas Stewardess boyfriend Luke Davies is missing from the TV producer’s Paddington home in SydneyIt’s to the east.
Davies, 29, was believed to be with Baird, 26, in Paddington on Monday, but the pair went missing and Davies’ family were unable to contact him.
Stacey Thomson, known as ‘Ranger Stacy’ from Network 10’s Totally Wild, worked alongside Mr Baird on the children’s show.
“I worked with Jesse for a few years and we sat across from each other in the TW office,” he told Daily Mail Australia.
‘I’m shocked actually. He was a lovely work friend, always professional and eager to learn.’
A huge search is now underway to find the missing couple after their blood-stained clothes were thrown into a bin in Cronulla, in Sydney’s south, on Wednesday morning, and police declared the man’s home Mr. Baird as a crime scene.
Police rushed to Mr Baird’s home in Paddington, 30 kilometers away, where they are believed to have found a “large amount of blood”, including blood-stained furniture.

The search was on: a pile of the couple’s bloody clothes was found 30 kilometers away in a large container behind the Cronulla Club, in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, at around 11am on Wednesday.

Police said they have “serious concerns” for Mr Davies and issued an urgent appeal for anyone with any information to come forward.
Davies last updated his social media five days ago with a series of Instagram photos of himself in the mountains around Vancouver in Canada.
Three days ago, Baird posted photos of the couple at Pink’s concert in Sydney two weeks ago.
Baird left his producer/host position at Studio Ten in January after three years, when the network fired him late last year.
He had previously worked as a producer/presenter with Ten’s Totally Wild! program for four years, as well as a seven-month period introducing Gamify! for the network in 2019.

Police have launched an intensive investigation in the neighborhood around the house in Brown St, Paddington, (pictured) and neighbors have been questioned for possible clues.

After entering the property, officers immediately established the crime scene.
Forensic experts searched his Brown Street home in Paddington overnight after the alarm was first raised at around 1pm on Wednesday.
A local resident told Daily Mail Australia that police had removed furniture from the house and left it on the street on Wednesday night while they searched the scene.
“There were some bookshelf type things and they were roped off,” he said.
“There was no furniture (beds or sofas) and I don’t know what they were doing with it.”
Detective Superintendent Jodi Radmore, commander of the Eastern Suburbs PAC, said neighbors had reported shouting at the Paddington home early on Monday morning.
Credit cards, wallets and a mobile phone were found among the bloody clothes in the Cronulla bin, he said.
“There has been some sort of incident that probably occurred at the Paddington address and that has given us serious concerns for one, possibly both,” he said.
Forensic experts searched the house overnight after the alarm was first raised around 1pm on Wednesday.
The furniture stolen from the house appears to have been sprayed with blood.
Locals said police were seen removing furniture and rolled rugs from the house yesterday.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about Luke’s whereabouts, or who may have information relevant to the investigation, to contact Waverley Police or Crime Stoppers.
“The belongings of Luke Davies, 29, and another man were found yesterday shortly after 11am in a rubbish bin on Wilbar Avenue, Cronulla,” police said.
‘Following investigations, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended a house in Brown Street, Paddington, yesterday around 1pm.
‘After entering the property, officers immediately established the crime scene.
“Police then attended Luke’s home in Waterloo, but he has not been located and his disappearance is being treated as suspicious.”
The statement added: “Investigators are now trying to determine the location of a 26-year-old man, who they believe may be able to assist with investigations.”

‘Information indicates that Luke was in Paddington on Monday. He has not been seen since, his family has not been able to contact him and he has not been at work.
‘Luke is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm to 175cm tall, medium build, brown hair and brown eyes. It is not known what he was wearing at the time.
“Police are asking anyone with information regarding Luke’s whereabouts, or who may have information relevant to the investigation, to contact Waverley Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
