Superstar musician Robbie Williams has flown under the radar of fans in London simply by wearing the jersey of the AFL team for which he acts as global ambassador.
The chart-topping artist is a mad Carlton supporter and provided pre-game entertainment at the 2022 AFL grand final.
Since then, he has taken to watching Blues games and celebrating their victories on social media, and even wrote a song about the team to celebrate their victory over Sydney in last year’s knockout final.
However, donning the Blues guernsey made the A-Lister anonymous in the eyes of passers-by in London.
On Tuesday he posted a series of videos on Instagram showing him and his wife Ayda in London with the former Take That singer sporting his Carlton jumper with ‘ROBBIE’ emblazoned on the back in an effort to see if people will recognize him in the stranger. attire.
The pair talk about the experiment they’re doing before they go for a walk and Williams says, “You know what I want to happen…if people say, ‘What is that?'” and then they turn around and Robbie says in the back, and they say, you know it’s me.
His next clip shows Williams sitting on a bench outside London’s Design Museum as several people walk past him, completely unaware that they are right next to one of the world’s biggest stars.

In the third clip, he finally reaches the finish line when a restaurant worker greets him with a ‘Bongiorno!’ -but then admits that he only found out who he is because he saw the first post of him wearing the Carlton shirt.

The first person to recognize the star (right) admitted they only saw him because they had seen the Instagram post showing him in his AFL team.
