Police release CCTV in hunt for ‘sex attacker’ who raped man in his 20s in Newcastle bar

Police are hunting a hooded man after another man in his 20s is raped in a bar in Newcastle.
CCTV of the figure was released by police in the north east today after the attack took place at the city’s Rusty’s Bar last year.
It happened on December 30 between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. when the victim was sexually assaulted.

Northumbria police are now desperately trying to find the man in the footage in connection with the rape investigation.
A spokesman said: “We received a report that a man in his 20s had been raped by another man after a night out at the bar in Times Square.
It was reported that the perpetrator sexually assaulted the victim by touching him without consent before continuing to rape while inside the premises.
“It is believed the perpetrator exposed himself to the victim outside of the location before sexually assaulting him and leaving the area.
“The incident was later reported to the police and an investigation has been launched by detectives from our Security Department.
The victim is accompanied by specially trained officers. A wide variety of investigations have been conducted, including a CCTV investigation.
“As part of their extensive investigation, we released today the image of a man they would like to speak to.
“It is believed he was nearby at the time of the incident and may have information.
