Craigieburn shooting: One man dead, one injured in ‘targeted’ attack at city shopping center as cops swarm busy car park and shoppers flee area
A man has been shot dead outside a shopping center in Melbourne’s north in what police say was a targeted attack.
Emergency workers arrived at the Windrock Ave shopping center in Craigieburn shortly before 3pm on Saturday after reports of several gunshots.
They found two injured men, one of whom died at the scene. The other man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A distressed-looking man had to be stopped by police from trying to reach the scene as passers-by looked on in horror.
