A man suspected of being the infamous “Moore Park rapist”, who terrorized Sydney by sexually assaulting at least 10 women between 1991 and 1993, has been arrested at the city’s airport.

In a major development on Friday, New South Wales Police announced that a man suspected of being the ‘Night Stalker’ had been arrested and charged.

In a statement, New South Wales Police said the man has been charged with 33 offenses against eight of the 10 victims.

Those charges include 16 counts of aggravated sexual assault.

He will face Downing Center Local Court today.

The Sexual Crimes Squad used modern DNA and fingerprint technologies to supposedly solve the mystery.
