Jacksonville police are reviewing shocking footage that has gone viral that appears to show police fighting with fans during the Georgia Bulldogs vs. Florida Gators game on Saturday.
Footage appears to show two Florida fans being tackled to the ground and beaten by police. An older fan is seen being grabbed by a police officer and does not appear to resist the officer, who is still throwing punches at him.
Another supporter appears to be pinned on a nearby staircase while another police officer throws punches.
A statement from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on Saturday said they are “aware of videos circulating of the Georgia-Florida football game.”
‘Administrative reviews of the incidents are being opened. As such, the agency will not comment until all the facts are known and reviews have been completed.

As for the game itself, Georgia beat rivals Florida 34-20 to reach 7-1 for the season in a game known as “The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.”
Carson Beck threw for 309 yards and two touchdowns to offset three interceptions for Georgia.
