Police have released dramatic dashcam footage of a high-speed chase with a 10-year-old boy who stole his mother’s car to visit her in Detroit.
In the 31-second clip, the silver 2017 Buick Encore – driven by the child – is seen going from lane to lane with its turn signals on at 1:40 p.m. on May 27.
The hazard lights flashed as the 10-year-old swerved the vehicle onto southbound Interstate 75 as he ignored the cops pursuing him.
Before long, the SUV moved to the side of the road, before hitting the guardrail and coming to a stop.

The child, who is not even five feet tall, now faces single charges of unlawfully operating a motor vehicle, fourth-degree flight and evasion from police, and assaulting, resisting or obstructing police .
Michigan State Police troopers were notified that the stolen SUV was speeding down I-75 and began following it.
As they responded, they received several 911 calls about a child driving recklessly on the same road.
MSP Lt Kimberly Vetter said the child driver ignored the police car sirens and drove on.
OnStar, which was installed in the SUV, was turned off remotely and the car then pulled to a stop, where the video ended.
The child, who was staying with relatives, told police he took his mother’s car to visit her in Detroit.
Police say the car was stolen from a residence on Hess Avenue in Buena Vista Township.
