The North Carolina police are investigating a possible kidnapping after eyewitnesses have said a man forced his girlfriend into the back of a car.
Wilkes County Sheriff & Deputies responded to a call from 911 regarding a domestic dispute outside a home on 233 Graymille Street in Hays, on Thursday morning.
Upon their arrival, officers say witnesses told him that a man – later identified as Rosalino Duarte-Cruz, 37 – kidnapped 20-year-old Lauren Hall from the front yard of her house.
Duarte-Cruz reportedly dragged Hall through the grass before forcing her into his car.

According to Hall & # 39; s Facebook, the two have had a relationship for some time, although an exact duration is currently unknown
He then jumped off the scene in what the police say is a silver 2016 Chevrolet Camaro LT, with North Carolina license plates that & # 39; TPD-8339 & # 39; read.
Duarte-Cruz was supposed to go in the direction of Winston-Salem or Yadkinville, where the authorities believe that he & # 39; hold.
The couple is supposed to date, the police said, although the extent of their relationship was not immediately known.
On her Facebook page, Hall regularly makes public love declarations for Duarte-Cruz, which is now thought to have kidnapped her.

In light of the allegations, the police preventively accused the 37-year-old of assaulting and abducting. They issued an order for his arrest.
& # 39; The two have had an ongoing relationship. We believe that Hall is still being held against her will, & said Chief Deputy David Carson on Thursday afternoon.
& # 39; The incident is currently being treated as a kidnapping involving the victim [in the National Crime Information Center database], & # 39; he added.
