The woman entered a public access area where people have to wait to be called to enter the lobby.
It happened around 3:20 pm PDT on Wednesday afternoon, when armed officers stopped him from continuing.

The woman was unable to access the lobby and was detained after negotiations with the authorities. Detectives don’t know what her demands were.

The officer began negotiating with the woman for more than an hour before she finally gave up.
No one was injured during the incident. The woman’s identity was not immediately released.

The FBI has reported an increase in the number of threats against bureau personnel and facilities in recent years.

And in August, a man rammed a barricade at an FBI office in Atlanta and then attempted to follow an FBI employee to the secure parking lot on foot.
