Search for mysterious driver who dumped woman, 37, in hospital with a gunshot wound to her chest – as chilling new details emerge

A man is hunted by police after dropping off a woman who was shot to hospital before fleeing the scene.
The 37-year-old woman was driven in a white sedan to Bankstown Hospital in western Sydney at about 12.50pm Thursday after being shot in the torso.
Police believe she was shot in a home in Condell Park. She would then have been a passenger in the sedan driven by a man described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance.
He is about 175 cm tall, has an average build and a dark beard.
The 37-year-old woman was driven in a white sedan to Bankstown Hospital (pictured) in western Sydney at about 12.50pm Thursday after being shot in the torso.
He was wearing a black hoodie and black shorts over long black workout leggings at the time.
The driver left the area on foot shortly after dropping the woman off at the hospital, police say, and the sedan was impounded.
The 37-year-old underwent surgery and is now in stable condition.
Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the man as the investigation continues.
