The perimeter of former President Donald Trump's speech site on Long Island, New York, was breached ahead of his rally tonight

Police reportedly found “explosives” in a car near former President Donald Trump’s rally site on Long Island ahead of his speech Wednesday night.

If confirmed, it would be the latest shocking security breach and would come just three days after a would-be killer was arrested at his Palm Beach golf club.

Nassau County Police Department sources reportedly told One America News Network reporter James Lalino that “the perimeter of the rally site was breached and a blue barrel was removed.”

Additionally, during the raid K9s apparently “found an explosive device in one of the vehicles.”

Sources reportedly said the driver ended up running into the woods.

“No one saw if he had anything on him, they just saw him running away. There are a lot of cars parked, lined up on Hempstead Turnpike, just parking in the grass. Even in Eisenhower Park, they just park there,” the source continued to tell Lalino according to a post on X.

Thousands of MAGA fans are expected to descend on Long Island this afternoon ahead of the 7 p.m. ET rally at Nassau Coliseum.

A large crowd has already gathered and many have camped out overnight to get good seats in the indoor stadium.

Doors won’t open until 3 p.m. ET, but MAGA fans have already gathered, decked out in Trump gear, hats, buttons and waving large flags.

Since the first assassination attempt on him in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, Trump has opted to hold events indoors.

Suspected killer Thomas Matthew Crooks shot him in the right ear as gunshots rang out at his midsummer rally.

Two months later, a gunman pointed an AK-47 at the former president as he played at the Trump International golf course in West Palm Beach on Sunday shortly after 1 p.m.

The Republican candidate was quickly taken to a safe location as Secret Service agents opened fire on the suspect who was carrying a GoPro camera and a backpack, along with his rifle.

Trump has blamed “rhetoric” from both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for inspiring violence against him.

This is breaking news.
