Police are “concerned” about four teenagers who went missing on Sunday morning while camping in Snowdonia.
Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson and Hugo Morris are believed to have been in the Harlech and Porthmadog areas of Gwynedd, north Wales.
They were last seen in a silver Ford Fiesta, police said.
A coastguard helicopter was searching Glaslyn Nature Reserve at 4.30am on Tuesday but has since returned to base.
Chris Lloyd, president of the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team, said teams had spent Monday searching car parks for his vehicle.
Lloyd said: “North Wales Police called us yesterday afternoon.
“Our first job was to look for any indication that they were on the mountain.
“We deployed two or three teams to go through all the parking lots. We can’t find the car. We are still actively looking for it and continue to look. “We don’t have a specific area to search.”
This is breaking news.
