Human remains have been discovered at a river crossing in the ACT.
The remains were discovered on Sunday afternoon near the northern end of Point Hut Crossing, about a 30-minute drive from Canberra.
“Police were called to an area near the northern end of Point Hut Crossing following a call from a member of the public,” an ACT Police spokesperson said.

The road remains closed on Monday as police continue their investigations.
ACT Police told Daily Mail Australia the remains have not been identified at this time.
