Nate Tice and Matt Harmon take an in-depth look at the NFL’s middle class as they determine whether every team with playoff aspirations should prepare for a playoff push or pack their bags.
First, the duo begins with the news that the New York Jets have fired their general manager Joe Douglas. This move was more expected, but it really puts into perspective how far this franchise has fallen from the optimism that surrounded the acquisition of Aaron Rodgers just two offseasons ago. Nate and Matt also discuss whether Rodgers could return (on another team) in 2025.
Moving on to some teams that deserve more attention, Nate and Matt start with teams on the bubble in the AFC playoff race, while diagnosing the Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals (both have less than 10% playoff chances), Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos and decide if they are ready to advance to the playoffs or if they are destined for Cancun.
The NFC race is even closer than the AFC, as Nate and Matt give their predictions for the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before attempting to break down a very close NFC West that includes the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. and the Los Angeles Rams.
