The players of Manchester City had to attend a meeting today with the club’s director, who is planning to hold crisis talks following news about their ban on the Champions League.
It was announced on Friday that the club would not be allowed to play European matches again in the coming two years due to ‘serious breaches’ of UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules.
Within an hour of the news, city officials contacted the players to call them for a meeting with CEO Ferran Soriano.
