PLAYER REVIEWS: Marcus Rashford was a thorn in Romania’s side when he first captained England, Jack Grealish showed once again why he’s the man to open the door and Tyrone Mings recovered from a sloppy start

Marcus Rashford scored the only goal from the penalty spot as England took a 1-0 win over Romania in their final Euro 2020 warm-up match

It was a good performance by the Manchester United star in his first game as England captain, as other players noticed.

James Ward-Prowse staked his claim to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold in the England squad, while Tyrone Mings recovered well in the second half after a sloppy start.

Sportsmails Sami Mokbel assessed the players on Sunday afternoon.
