Queen Maxima of the Netherlands was all smiles on Thursday as she mingled with residents and cheered on children during a visit to a playground in Zevenbergschen Hoek, a village in the southern province of North Brabant.
The 53-year-old Dutch royal visited the village to discuss how it can overcome the challenges it faces regarding deteriorating facilities and an ageing community, and remain an attractive place for people to live.
Queen Maxima, who wore a pale pink top complemented by a spectacular floral necklace made up of stones in complementary colours, looked delighted to be outdoors in the sunshine and mingling with the locals.
She paired her short-sleeved top with white wide-leg pants and added some sparkle with diamond earrings and a dazzling bracelet.
With her hair slicked back and smoky eye makeup, the radiant monarch looked both glamorous and relaxed.
