Gwen Stefani caused a stir after appearing on The Voice last night sporting an ‘unrecognizable’ new look.

The 55-year-old superstar ditched her icy platinum locks for new warm, wavy blonde locks with prominent bangs.

But fans were quick to suggest that something else was different about her appearance besides her hair and dress, pointing out her plumper, smoother facial complexion.

Some speculated that she might have had cosmetic procedures, one said she was “out of control” and another compared her new look to Sabrina Carpenter.

Dr. Corey Maas, a San Francisco facial plastic surgeon, suggested that your face’s fuller appearance may be due to fillers, which fill in wrinkles, smooth out lines, and restore volume to your face.

He also suggested that Gwen may have had a lower facelift, saying he didn’t see any loose skin on her lower jaw that you would expect from someone her age.

And again on The Voice last night

Plastic surgeons have suggested that she has had filler in her face and lips, and some have also suggested that she has had a mini facelift. In the image on the left he is 37 years old and in the one on the right he is 55.

A lower facelift, or mini facelift, involves making incisions around the ear and then pulling the skin in the lower third of the face to tighten it and reduce sagging.

And fillers are substances that are injected into the face to restore volume and make someone look younger. As people age, the face begins to lose volume.

He also suggested that the lack of deep lines and wrinkles on his face, which tend to emerge around the age of 20, may be related to Botox use.

Gwen has previously faced a lot of speculation about her appearance over the years, with surgeons also suggesting she had a nose job in the 1990s.

In a nose job or rhinoplasty, surgeons make incisions in the nose and remove tissue to improve its appearance for aesthetic reasons.

Dr. Gary Linkov, a plastic surgeon also in New York City who reviews celebrity plastic surgery for his YouTube channel, suggested that she had spent more than $428,000 on her face over the years in at least nine procedures, including two brow lifts.

Dr Maas told DailyMail.com after seeing footage of Gwen on The Voice: “It’s true that with bangs, if you pull them down, it makes people focus more on the middle of the face and below. of the eyes, which makes them (the cheeks and the middle of the face) look a little fuller.

“But I wouldn’t expect (this area) to be that full in someone his age either, so it probably had some padding.”

He added: “Her jaw is also very indicative of some work, a 55-year-old woman just doesn’t have a jaw like that.”

“I think she may have had a lower facelift, because that does a really good job of tightening the jawline and chin, and hers are almost perfect.”

Dr. Michael Bassiri-Tehrani, a facial plastic surgeon in New York City, agreed with suggestions that she had a filler, telling DailyMail.com: ‘As we age, we tend to lose some facial fat.

“But we don’t see this in Gwen, so she may have opted for tasteful fillers to maintain the plumpness of her cheeks.”

He added: “Her face seems a little rounder and fuller-cheeked than before, which (also) supports this idea.” But of course, bangs could also influence your look.’

Dr. Joel Kopelman, a facial plastic surgeon also in New York City, also suggested that you may have received a lower facelift or mini facelift.

He told DailyMail.com: ‘From my perspective as a facial plastic surgeon, Gwen Stefani may have had a mini facelift.

‘This is less invasive than a traditional facelift and also targets the lower face and jawline, helping to tighten sagging skin and restore youthful contours.

‘Looking at Gwen’s recent appearance, particularly her smooth jawline and lack of sagging around her cheeks and neck, a mini facelift could have contributed to these results.

“This type of procedure typically results in a subtle, natural lift, which aligns with your overall appearance – you look refreshed and youthful without dramatically altering your signature appearance.”

Gwen Stefani herself has not commented publicly on allegations that she has undergone cosmetic procedures.

But she’s well known for her love of makeup, and even founded her own brand, GXVE, pronounced ‘Give,’ which sells cruelty-free and vegan-friendly makeup, including lipsticks, highlighters, and eyeshadows.

Discussing her love of makeup in a 2017 interview with Fashionablesaid: ‘I would always get shit for (wearing makeup).

‘People were saying, “You’re wearing a mask, what are you trying to hide?” No, I just love makeup. I just think I look better when I have it on.’

A spokesperson for Gwen did not respond to a request for comment from DailyMail.com.

After seeing photos of her on The Voice, one viewer commented: ‘I think it’s more than just the wig…look at her face, the plumpness and the softness. It has had some repairs done and the fillings are out of control.

A second person said: “I find it particularly disappointing to see some of the girls we knew as rebellious, unique, adventurous champions of personal style transform into these reconstructed, plump, lifted, cookie-cutter clones clawing at youth.”

And a third added: ”I like Gwen and she has always been beautiful and very talented. I really hope he stops now or slows down the pace of work.’

The No Doubt frontwoman was forced to cancel her concert in August this year due to an undisclosed injury.
