Dr. Los Angeles plastic surgeon Kelly Killeen has revealed the five cosmetic procedures she would never have
The bigger the butt, the bigger the risk! The surgeon says she would NEVER get a BBL because it’s dangerous
“Here’s my top five procedures I would never have done as a plastic surgeon,” she said before detailing what came in the first place.

The first cosmetic procedure the doctor said she would never have is a Brazilian Butt Lift
The first cosmetic procedure that the doctor said she would never have is a BBL or a Brazilian Butt Lift.
“This is the procedure with the highest mortality and complication rate of all cosmetic procedures,” she explained.
Dr. Kelly also revealed that the surgeons who regularly perform BBLs should not be praised for what they are.
“I don’t like the weird culture of hero worship of the surgeon who performs many of these surgeries. I think it has a weird ick factor to me, I would never do it,” the doctor added.
Through fat transfer, a BBL adds volume and accentuates your bottom to give you a fuller figure.
According to the International Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeryabout 396,105 people had a Brazilian Butt Lift.
BBLs have become notorious for their high death rate of one in 3,000.
Dr. Pat Pazmiño, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Miami, told me NBC that in 2021 more people died from ‘the Brazilian butt lifts than any other year before’.
‘I don’t like it’: Dr. Kelly says you should avoid upper lip lifts
The doctor came in second and revealed that she would never do an upper lip lift.
“This will probably annoy some of my facial plastics colleagues,” she said before explaining why she wasn’t a fan of the lip lift.

The doctor came in second and revealed that she would never do an upper lip lift
“I think we all generally get it, we want a bigger upper lip, but the scar isn’t worth it to me.
“I see it in every patient, even those who claim their scars aren’t seen, I see it.
‘I do not like it. Everyone knows what you did, not for me,” she explained.
Dr. Kelly also said she doesn’t like texture that an upper lip lift can cause.
“I also don’t like how the wet part of the red lip can turn outward and cause some sort of permanent weird upper lip texture,” added Dr. Kelly to it.
During a lip lift, doctors remove the skin between the nose and the edge of the upper lip.
This shortens the distance between the nose and the top of the lip, making your lips appear more voluminous.
Lip lifts have become increasingly popular in recent years, with many women flocking to their doctors to get bigger lips.
Although popular, the procedure carries the risk of infection and scarring.
Don’t fall for the ‘trend’: Surgeon says fox eye brow lifts will go out of style, so you’ll need to use makeup to achieve the look
“Number three is the fox eye brow lift,” revealed Dr. Kelly.
The surgeon explained that you should avoid this procedure because it looks ‘weird’ and just follows a ‘trend’.
‘It looks weird. I would never have a surgical procedure done on my face for a trend that will probably be out in a few years,” she said.
Instead, the doctor advised those who wanted the procedure to learn how to master the same look using makeup.
“You can make your brow do that thing yourself by shaving the end, working on your eye makeup techniques,[that’s]not permanent.”
“I would never do that procedure,” she explained.
In the past year, a growing number of women have been trying to get a lifted brow look through their surgeons or by shaving off the ends of their brows.
The look is also called ‘designer eyes’ and is completely in.
It involves removing excess skin or fat around the eyes to change the shape.
The fox eye brow lift is all the rage right now, so it’s important to keep in mind what will look good on you for years to come.

The fourth procedure that Dr. Kelly would never have done is massive chest fat grafting (stock image)
Choose implants instead! Dr. Kelly says when you get huge fat grafts on the chest, they look “droopy.”
The fourth procedure that Dr. Kelly would never have done is massive chest fat grafting.
“Number four is massive chest fat grafting, I know I do a lot of chest fat grafting, but when you need that much fat in your chest to do what you want to do, you’re at a higher risk of complications like cysts, fat necrosis , contour deformities where you’re all lipoed and fat just doesn’t have the structure of an implant or breast tissue.
“So you end up with a kind of a bulging-looking chest and I just would never do that,” the board-certified surgeon explained.
Fat grafting, also known as fat transfer, has emerged as an important new breast reconstruction technique.
This procedure uses liposuction to transfer fat from other parts of your body and enlarge your breasts.
According to Cleveland clinicrisks of breast augmentation with fat transfer include: bleeding and bruising, death of fat cells (necrosis) or fat cells moving from your breasts to other parts of your body, infection, benign (benign) breast cysts, or breast calcifications.
Although dr. Kelly admitted to doing these procedures, she explained that only a certain amount of fat should be used afterward.
She noted that if you want to transfer too much fat, it becomes a problem and you should opt for implants instead.
Surgeon says she would NEVER get a nose job due to years of recovery process that includes ‘swelling and unpredictable scarring’
Finally, the surgeon reveled in the fact that she would never get a rhinoplasty or rhinoplasty.
“I love rhino jobs, they are such great surgeries for the right person, but for me personally the things I don’t like about my nose aren’t huge, they are easily remedied with a liquid rhino job.”
“I don’t think I personally could tolerate a year of swelling and the unpredictable scarring that comes with a nose job,” she explained.

Finally, the surgeon reveled in the fact that she would never get a rhinoplasty or rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasties, or rhinoplasties, are one of the most common procedures that change the appearance of a nose by changing the shape of the nose.
According to Cleveland clinicmore than 350,000 rhinoplasty procedures are performed each year.
The risks of rhinoplasty include: a hole in your nasal septum (perforation of the septum). Infections, nosebleeds, scarring, skin discoloration, pain and change in your sense of smell.
For minor repairs, Dr. Kelly a liquid rhinoplasty.
A liquid rhinoplasty, or non-surgical rhinoplasty, is the injection of dermal fillers into the nose to change its shape.
It is known as a painless and quick alternative to going under the knife.
While not a surgical procedure, Dr. Kelly that she would never get a thread lift.
“I would never get a thread lift done anywhere. They look good when you’re static, but when you’re moving you can see the pull of the wires.
“There are all sorts of weird complications, from infections to extrusions where they come through your skin.
“I would just never get a thread lift done, I honestly think it’s a horrible procedure,” she revealed.
