Kamala Harris will turn 60 in just two months.
But to many Americans, the vice president appears much younger, and many are surprised to learn that she is the same age as her graying running mate, Gov. Tim Walz.
Capitol Hill is rife with rumors about plastic surgery, from Joe Biden to Donald Trump, Nancy Pelosi to lower-ranking congressmen like Matt Gaetz.
After reviewing dozens of photographs of Kamala throughout her two-decade career, prominent plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Linkov has given his verdict on the cosmetic adjustments he believes she has had done.

Speaking to DailyMail.com, Dr Linkov, who runs City Facial Plastics in New York, said: “For his age, he looks very young, and it doesn’t look like he’s had a lot of work done.”
‘She still looks like she’s naturally herself, which is great.
“I’m in favor of doing what people want, and if it’s very little, then great.”
She added: ‘To maintain good skin, one of the most important things is sun protection (using sunscreen) and maintaining a certain level of hydration, such as a cleanser or moisturiser.
“It looks like she’s done it, and the truth is that you don’t need a 15-step skincare routine to keep your skin looking more youthful.”
Harris previously revealed her minimalist skincare routine in a candid moment during the 2019 presidential campaign, when she was President Joe Biden’s running mate.
In the interview, she revealed that she uses moisturizer and skin cleanser from Cetaphil, a line of skin care products from Swiss company Galderma.
Harris said:Since I’ve been campaigning, I use the wipes to clean, but other than that, I use the skin cleanser.
‘I just have a normal moisturizer and that’s it.’
Cetaphil’s moisturizing cream costs just $16 per bottle and is available at many retailers, including Target, CVS, and Amazon.
Their gentle skin cleanser costs around $12 per bottle, while their cleansing wipes are priced at $8 for a pack of 25.
Dr. Linkov said her youthful appearance was likely also helped by a strong facial structure, which can help hold skin in place and reduce sagging, a common occurrence with aging, and something many women combat by getting fillers to make their faces look full and plump.
Dr. Linkov also suggested that she probably had microneedling done around her eyebrows and said they appeared thicker than in previous photos.
Microneedling costs around $100 per session and involves needles creating micro-punctures in the skin to stimulate the body’s natural healing process.
To see results, experts recommend three to four microneedling sessions spaced about a month apart, at a total cost of up to $400.
He dismissed online speculation that she had used lip fillers, saying her fuller upper lip appeared to be due to wearing makeup.
He could find no evidence of a facelift, nose job, brow lift or use of fillers on the Democratic candidate, and dismissed suggestions she used Botox, saying the fine lines on her forehead appeared to deepen over time.
He did, however, suggest that he had had veneers – small white shells placed in front of teeth to improve their appearance – at a cost of $50,000.

But Dr. Sharon Huang, a cosmetic dentist at Les Belles NYC who has placed thousands of veneers during her career, disagrees and believes she’s only whitened her teeth.
“When we put veneers on, we usually also make sure the teeth look much more symmetrical,” she told DailyMail.com. “You can’t see this with Kamala.”
‘But she’s definitely whitened her teeth, her teeth are definitely brighter, they used to be a lot duller.
‘The cost of this could range between seven and nine thousand dollars, in New York it is up to 1,900 dollars.’
Harris’ lack of cosmetic enhancements stands in stark contrast to Biden, who surgeons speculate has undergone everything from a facelift to a brow lift to fillers and a hair transplant.
The President has never commented on these speculations.
And while Dr. Linkov said Trump also looked young for his age, this may have been helped by the cosmetic work he is rumored to have undergone, although he denies ever having any procedures performed.
He said: ‘With Trump, he’s clearly had some hair styling done, but not the rest of his face, he hasn’t had any facelifts.
“He’s older now, but he definitely looks young for his age.”
