‘Are you, are you, is this Christian?’ the man asked.

‘What are you all doing here… is God for this?’

The woman smiled as she answered in a calm and measured voice.

‘Absolutely. God is for love, for welcome, for hospitality,’ he said.

‘God is very hospitable with this.’

The man demanded that the woman back up her claim, asking her where in the Bible it said that God supported same-sex marriage.

‘God is love? Of course he is, but he is also a saint,’ the man replied.

Do you believe that God is holy, do you believe that he has commandments, and do you believe that we should obey them?

‘Because God says, if you love me, keep my commandments. But love isn’t at the expense of truth, is it?

‘This is an abomination to God. You read the bible? Do you read your Bible?’

The woman reiterated that God was love and politely said that she needed to finish painting the steps.

“I don’t think these are Christian questions that you’re asking,” he said.

‘A Christian is a follower of Christ. You’re not really following Christ,’ the man replied.

‘Without Christ, you’re going to go to the devil’s hell, you know that? You’re being fooled man, and I don’t want to be fooled. I’m worried about your soul.
