A tradesman has died in hospital after being electrocuted while working on the roof of a business in Brisbane’s east.
The electrician was fixing an air conditioning unit on the roof of a business located on Bancroft Road in Pinkenba on February 27 when he was shocked.
Emergency services were able to resuscitate the man before he was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.
It is unclear how the man suffered the electric shock.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, died in hospital three days later on Friday, March 1.
The Bureau of Electrical Safety is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
