A man is set to appear in court over the death of a three-year-old girl who died in a single-vehicle crash.
Emergency crews were called to reports that a brown Holden Captiva travelling on a slip road near the Great Northern Highway left the road and overturned at De Grey in Western Australia’s Pilbara region at about 10.50pm on Wednesday night.
Paramedics treated a three-year-old girl who was a passenger in the car for serious injuries, but she died at the scene.
The tragedy occurred near the Great Northern Highway at De Grey last Wednesday night.

Three women and two men were also treated for minor injuries after the crash.
Western Australian Police have since charged a 24-year-old South Hedland man with one count of manslaughter, dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
He is due to appear at Stirling Gardens Magistrates’ Court on September 18.
