Plans have been revealed for a new ‘thrill-seeking’ experience in London – Tomb Raider: The Live Experience, which opens on April 1, 2022.

It’s not a joke. Set in Camden’s Stable Market, the multimillion-pound attraction invites “adventurers” to join Lara Croft “on her quest to recover a powerful artifact that has fallen into the hands of a dangerous enemy.”

A view shows a giant statue of Lara Croft towering over visitors at the entrance to the attraction. Another drawing shows a bird’s-eye view of each of the rooms in the interactive attraction, with what appears to be a tropical jungle, a lava pit, and a snowy Alpine scene in the new experience.

A third, meanwhile, shows a woman strumming through a forest landscape, with a recreation of an old grave in the background.

In teams of eight, visitors are given missions to “escape a sinking ship, explore the Costa Rican jungle, discover an ancient tomb, solve environmental puzzles, and fight a secret order.”
