Police arrived at Wilson and Fielding's home on 1294 East 35th Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma (photo) to find Wilson & # 39; s mother applying CPR to the injured future mother.
According to police, when police first interviewed him, Wilson had blood on his clothes and fresh wounds on his knuckles.
When she was interviewed by detectives after her son's arrest, Wilson's mother said her son called her in tears on Sunday and said he was injured and would start living his own life, KTUL reported.
The mother called 911 and ran to his apartment, where she said she found Wilson unconscious in a chair and his girlfriend lay on the floor with visible injuries to her face.
Wilson's mother told investigators that the couple had a history of domestic violence and that her son was convicted in 2016 of attacking Fielding.
He was sentenced to three years in prison in 2017 but released a year later, Tulsa World reported.
When officers executed a search warrant in Wilson's apartment, they found a shotgun that he was not allowed to have because he was still on trial.
His criminal record also includes previous arrests on accusation of abuse and battery, theft and public intoxication.

Sergeant Shane Tuell with the Tulsa police said: & # 39; For whatever reason, they believe they can change that person or believe that better things will happen, or that that person has something to offer.
& # 39; But in reality the only thing that person is likely to offer you is an early grave, and that's what happened in this case. & # 39;
