The security guard at the Florida hotel, who allegedly struck Sir Rod Stewart during a New Year’s Eve incident at a luxury hotel, was noticed Saturday afternoon after returning home.
Jessie Dixon, 33, a security guard at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, signed a statement of persecution against Rod and his son, Sean Stewart, on December 31.
The incident that led to Rod being charged with a simple battery – a crime – occurred after the Da Ya Think I’m Sexy? Singer and his party allegedly tried to get a private event in the children’s room at The Breakers on New Year’s Eve.
They all would have refused access because they were not on the list.

Hotel security guard Jessie Dixon, who accused Sir Rod Stewart of beating him up on a New Year’s Eve, was spotted Saturday outside his Florida apartment
Dixon is seen here Saturday as he wears his hotel uniform while returning home after his service. He told the police that Rod hit him and that his son, Sean Stewart, pushed him after the Stewarts and their party were denied entry to a private event at the hotel Friday night
Police said Rod, 74, was trapped in hotel cameras while he was allegedly beating Dixon, while Sean, 39, was seen pushing Dixon back.
Dixon – dressed in his hotel uniform – can be seen in these photos, exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com, while returning from work on Saturday afternoon to his apartment in Boynton Beach, Florida.
Not long after, he saw his apartment leave after changing into a San Francisco 49ers t-shirt and Under Armor sweatpants.
Dixon declined to comment on the Saturday incident and just said, “You’ll have to talk to my lawyers, I’m sorry.”
Meanwhile, Sean claimed that Dixon acted aggressively, and that was why his father jumped in and hit the guard in the chest.
Sean said he and Dixon compete against each other during the James Bond themed event at the hotel and that he “stood up” for his family.
Asked about the incident Friday night while he was in Los Angeles, Sean said TMZ that he may not comment, but I will say this, my father has always taught me to stand up for my family and my loved ones. And that’s what I did. The truth will prevail. He was very aggressive. ”
According to police documents obtained by DailyMail.com, the incident between the Stewarts and Dixon took place on December 31 at approximately 11.09 p.m.

Dixon signed a statement of prosecution against both Rod and Sean Stewart. However, it seems that only Rod is currently being charged with a simple battery
Dixon said the incident started when Rod Stewart (right) and son Sean Stewart (left) became aggressive after telling them to leave the check-in area of a New Year’s Eve private event

The incident occurred at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, where Dixon works
Dixon told the police that he was working that night at a private event in the children’s area of the hotel when he saw “a group of people” at the check-in table
They tried to participate in the event, although “according to the police report” they were not authorized.
“The group started to get loud and trigger a scene,” and refused to leave when Dixon told them to go, the report said.
Dixon then told the police that a man – later identified as Rod Stewart’s son, Sean Stewart – was “nose to nose” away from Dixon’s face.
When Dixon put “the back of his right hand” on Sean’s chest and told him to “step back and make some room,” Sean Dixon pushed back.
Then Rod Stewart “approached him and threw a punch and hit Dixon in his left rib cage,” the police report said.
The police said they were then talking to Rod, who told them that they were trying to get the children in their group to the event.

Police said there is sufficient evidence to charge Rod Stewart (left, with Sean, right) with a simple battery and he should appear in court on February 5

But after he was denied access to the event, Rod told the police that “Dixon had a fight with his family, which in turn made them restless,” the police report said.
Rod “apologized for his behavior in the incident,” the police noted.
The police then spoke with two hotel employees who also worked at the private event. They signed sworn witness statements confirming that Sean had pushed Dixon and saw that Rod hit Dixon.
The video camera recordings of Breakers were also assessed by the police.
The images showed that Sean and Rod were “the primary aggressors,” according to the report.
The police said that the images showed that Sean “forcefully pushed Dixon back a few centimeters back” and that as soon as the guard “came back to the ground and took a step back” towards Sean, Rod “stepped forward and hit Dixon’s chest with a closed fist. ”
The likely cause confirms that Dixon wants to continue prosecuting both Sean and Rod Stewart for the battery.
Between the sworn testimony statements and the video footage, the police said there is sufficient evidence to justify charging Rod with one count of simple battery.
Sean Stewart’s mugshot of when he was arrested in February 2015 after police said he jumped on a baggage claim and drove around while chasing his bag
It is unclear whether Sean will also be charged, although the arrest / notification to appear documentation mentions him as a co-suspect.
Rod was notified on February 5 to appear at the Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Complex.
Rod was previously in hot water with the police – in the 1960s he was arrested three times while participating in sit-ins in London in support of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.
Sean also has a previous arrest.
In September 2002, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail and was ordered to go to drug rehabilitation after not advocating any competition to attack a man outside a restaurant in Malibu. He was subsequently arrested in 2010 for driving with a suspended driver’s license.
And in February 2015, Sean was arrested at Miami International Airport. According to police, he jumped on a baggage claim after seeing his bag and driving around on the conveyor Room 10.
Sean was accused of unlawful access to a restricted area and released the following day after placing bail.
