A British father-of-two has been depicted for the first time since he died after being beaten while doing deer on the Greek island of Zante.
Matt Jeffery, 35, from Yeovil, Somerset, drank in a bar in the resort of Laganas on 23 May when he was arguing with two men.
It fell on the street where Mr. Jeffery was beaten, causing him to fall and hit his head on the sidewalk.
The groom, Sheridan Knight, wrote on Facebook on Wednesday: & # 39; This is the most painful thing I've ever had to write.
& # 39; I cannot put my devastation and upset into words, my heart is broken, we have left with my best friends to celebrate a party, because I got a hunger.
& # 39; Matt you were really one in a million, I have made some of the best memories of my life with you and I will never forget that.

& # 39; You did it for me and everyone who crossed your path, you were one of the friendliest and most supportive people anyone would want to meet.
& # 39; I feel enormously privileged to have had you in my life and I will never forget what you did for me. I will miss you very much and everyone too. All my Love. RIP Matt Jeffery. & # 39;
Another friend, Josh Harris wrote: & To the most selfless and supportive guy with the biggest brightest smile in the room.
& # 39; I thank you for all the favors, repairing my car & hilarious memories that we have shared together, for about 20 years. & # 39;
Medici took Mr. Jeffery to a local hospital where he was treated for serious head injury before being brought to Athens by air bridge the next day for specialist treatment.
He was placed there in intensive care before the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed his death on Thursday.
The attackers, also reported British, fled the scene but were traced by the police with the help of footage of the attack filmed by a passerby, Kathimerini reports.
Footage shows a man wearing a T-shirt approached by two other men without a shirt, one of which hits him in the head.
The man then falls backwards from the sidewalk and into the road.
Greek media reported that two men, 22 and 25 years old, were arrested Friday on Friday without identifying them.
