There are new photos of Betty White’s demolished home in the posh Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles after it sold in June for $10.678 million.

The Golden Girls icon passed away on New Year’s Eve 2021 at her other home in the picturesque central California town of Carmel-By-The-Sea, just weeks before her 100th birthday.

Now in new photos obtained by DailyMail.com, the home she’s lived in for decades can only be seen as dirt months after her assistant revealed it was demolished.

As the new owners apparently aim to build a new massive mansion in its place, construction crews can be seen laying the groundwork for the massive project.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing left of the 3,029-square-foot, two-story home with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a pool, and a great view of the Getty Museum.

Betty first moved into the luxurious Brentwood estate in 1968 with her third husband, Allen Ludden, to whom she was married until his death in 1981.

The Hollywood icon moved into Brentwood House as her conjugal home with Allen, but kept it for the four decades between his and her death.

Her beachfront property in Carmel sold in April 2022 for $10.775 million, nearly $3 million over the asking price, architectural digest open.

That same month, the Brentwood home was put on the market with an initial price of $10.575 million, according to Los Angeles Times.

The Los Angeles property also managed to exceed expectations, eventually selling in June for what TMZ The reported amount was $10.678 million.

At the time of the sale, it was widely reported that the new owners of Betty’s Brentwood house were likely to be demolished and replaced with a new building.

The original house was built in the 1950s, but Betty and Allen moved in late in the next decade, five years after they tied the knot.

Betty found “the love of my life” in Allen, the game show host with whom she lived nearly two decades of happy marriage until his death from stomach cancer in 1981—just four years before he began starring in The Golden Girls.

I joked to Piers Morgan CNN that her first two marriages were “rehearsals”, noting that in her time she “did not sleep with a man until she married him”.

It took until 1961 to meet Allen, who was already hosting the smash hit show Password in New York City.

Allen was left a single father of three when his first wife, Margaret McGloin, died of cancer – the same week he and Betty met.

Betty, herself a breakout role on the game show circuit, immediately caught Allen’s eye, but it took him many proposals to tire her out.

They continued to work together on stage while he took it over, starring together in Critics’ Choice plays and Janus.

During a Critics’ Choice Cape Cod he proposed for the first time, Petty told Television Academyrevealing that she believed he was joking.

He proposed again, this time seriously with a diamond ring at dinner, but was again turned down by Betty because she did not want to leave her career in Los Angeles in order to move to New York where Password asked him to stay.

Allen continued to propose and visit her in Los Angeles, and on Easter 1963 he sent her a stuffed bunny with “pretty little diamond and sapphire earrings in its ears”.

The night she got the stuffed animal, he called her and she finally agreed to marry him, and in the end “I regretted that year that I wasted saying no.” I would give anything to get it back. It was a love affair. We really got through – we lost 18 by three days, but it was still our honeymoon.

Being Mrs. Allen Ludden also left her with three young children – this after years of avoiding motherhood in order to focus on her career and even ending her second marriage due to that husband’s desire for her to become a stay-at-home parent.

However, in her diary, she revealed that she got along wonderfully with children. So cool that they affectionately called me “Dragon Lady”.

“Even after all these years, we love each other dearly, and I am so proud of the children this career girl has inherited,” she wrote in the book, which was released in 2011.

Then in 1981, four years before The Golden Girls started, I lost Allen to stomach cancer when he was just 63 years old.

She made up for her loss in an episode of Golden Girls in which her character, Rose Nylund, shares the story of the heart attack that took her husband’s life.

said episode director Lex Passaris closer: “Rose tells a story about the death of her husband, Charlie, and Betty talks mainly about Allen.”

“Betty’s voice kind of cracked and she took a breath and said to me, ‘I’d give anything to get that year of my life back,'” he recalled.
