The body of a 51-year-old woman was discovered inside a home while police detained a 52-year-old man.
The woman’s body was discovered by paramedics responding to a call for assistance on Kallaroo Rd in Pialligo, Canberra, about 9.45am on Tuesday.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 52-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and assisted police with investigations.
“At this time no charges have been laid and investigations into the matter continue,” ACT Police said in a statement.
