McMonstrosity! Canadian man is astonished when he asks for extra cream cheese on his McDonald’s bagel before it comes to swimming in the spread
- Bryan Passifiume asked for extra cream cheese on his McDonald’s bagel on Tuesday morning
- The employee responded to the request by extinguishing the sandwich with what appeared to be a whole barrel of the spread
- Passifiume went to Twitter to share snaps from the gigantic bagel, which quickly went viral
A Canadian man set fire to social media after sharing photos of a “monstrous” McDonald’s breakfast bagel drowning in cream cheese.
Bryan Passifiume ordered a regular bagel with herb and garlic cream cheese at the fast food output on Thursday morning and asked the server to add some ‘extra’ spread.
But Passifiume was astonished when the item arrived with much more cream cheese than he had expected, and he quickly went to Twitter to share excerpts of the spectacle.
“I ordered extra cream cheese because they usually just put it as butter, but this is clearly just an exercise in passive aggressiveness,” he explained under a photo of the thick breakfast roll.

Passifiume described the bagel as a “bad thing” and shared more photos of the bagel to its Twitter feed
The images left Twitter users stunned, which led to a flurry of humorous answers.
“I can’t get a Big Mac sauce on my cheeseburger and this guy has $ 300 in cream cheese on one bagel!” a follower wisecracked.
In the meantime another wrote: “There was a staff at the McDonald’s at our house who would load my mother’s bagels as she asked for” extra cream cheese. So she would bring a little Tupperware to scoop up the surplus for later toasts. “
Elsewhere, a user agreed with Passifiume’s assessment that McDonald’s employee was passively aggressive, as opposed to overly generous.
“I used to work in a breakfast cafe,” they recalled. “Guy sent back the order of bacon twice because he was too soft. We threw it in the fryer until we forgot it was there. Looked like used charcoal. Waitress came back and said he loved it. The petulance of employees in the youth food industry knows no boundaries.
To give social media users insight into how big the bagel actually was, Passifiume later shared photos of the creamy brew that was placed next to everyday objects
Another image shows that the bagel was as high as a banknote
To give social media users insight into how big the bagel actually was, Passifiume later shared photos of the creamy brew that was placed next to everyday objects.
In classic Canadian style, he showed a photo of the breakfast sandwich alongside an inverted ice hockey puck.
“Almost as greedy as a regulatory NHL ice hockey puck,” he wrote below the image.
Other images also showed that the bagel was as high as a banknote and almost as large as a hotel bell.
