The following month, while being investigated by the police, he took 27-year-old Kady to the Maldives for a five-star vacation.

Kady returned to Love Island this year after first finding fame on the series in 2016 and reportedly faced a “showdown” with bosses over continuing to be in a relationship with Liam.

But just six months after they returned to the UK, on ​​September 9, 2022, Greer was charged with money laundering.

And on April 20 this year at Harrow Crown Court, he admitted to the crime and is due to be sentenced on August 18.

During the police investigation into Greer’s crimes, police discovered that more than £300,000 had been sent to his bank account in a seven-day period by different people who specialist detectives are still trying to track down.

Police officers believe he lived in Kady’s renovated Hertfordshire bungalow and searched it as part of their investigation.

Kady’s neighbors said they often saw her and Greer hitting the gym and the local grocery store together in the weeks leading up to her appearance on Love Island late last month. They also saw the couple walking her dog, Koby.

Greer runs an electric bike company that police believe is not connected to the alleged money laundering ring.

He has already been ordered to seize £21,938.02 of the cash, which was held in a frozen bank account in his name, during a pre-hearing at Westminster Magistrates Court on March 3, 2022.
