The friend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – who photographed some of the couple’s most cherished family moments – has shared behind-the-scenes footage from this year’s Invictus Games.
Photographer Misan Harriman, 46, who photographed Princess Lilibet’s first birthday at Frogmore Cottage for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, took Instagram today to reveal the “beautiful moments” of the tournament in Germany.
One of the images showed Meghan proudly looking at Harry on stage as he rehearsed his closing speech in a near-empty hall at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf in September.
Another captured the mother-of-two, 42, affectionately placing her hand on the Duke’s back as he chatted to guests, with the Duchess expected to wear her £830 Cult Gaia strapless dress.
“Beautiful moments this year @weareinvictusgames,” Mr. Harriman wrote in the caption of one of his posts.

A final image shared by London-based Mr Harriman showed the Duchess, sporting a chic hairstyle, holding hands with a contestant.

Prince Harry, who served in the British Army for 10 years and completed two tours of duty in Afghanistan, created the Paralympic-style competition for wounded, ill and injured military personnel and veterans, with the first event taking place in 2014 .
During the week that Heart of Invictus was released on Netflix, Misan Harriman shared a dark, white photo of Harry on his Instagram account and praised him.
Mr Harriman praised Duke and the Invictus Games themselves for their contribution to improving the lives of injured veterans.
The photo, taken during the 2022 Invictus Games in the Netherlands, showed Prince Harry standing alone, wearing a black shirt.

A final image shared by London-based Mr Harriman showed the Duchess, sporting a chic hairstyle, holding hands with a contestant.
He continued: “Countless lives have been transformed through the true sense of community that Prince Harry has built with the Invictus Games.
“I took this photo on the last day of last year’s matches in The Hague. Empathy and determination can go a long way. He then posted several hashtags, including ‘mental health’, ‘be kind’ and “support our veterans”.

A year before, the Duchess of Sussex helmed the September issue, which is traditionally the magazine’s biggest of the year.
Photography is Harriman’s second career, after working in finance, but he has proven prolific since getting behind the lens.
He’s photographed everyone from Demi Lovato and Ed Harris to Elton’s husband David Furnish. Elton and David are longtime friends of Harry and Meghan.
The photographer told British Vogue during the couple’s second pregnancy announcement photoshoot that the Duchess of Sussex thanked him for helping her find love with Prince Harry, saying: “Meg m ‘reminded me that if I hadn’t introduced her to a mutual friend, she wouldn’t. But during the Invictus Games, Meghan and Harry grew closer.
