What the hell is that? A photo of a strange creature leaves people wondering if it’s a dog, a pig, or even the legendary Chupacabra.
Twisted folds of flesh and fur, his haunting eye glaring. What the hell is this vision of horror?
It could be a dog, though its goat-like features and muzzle suggest some cruel experiment could be the parent of this wriggling beast.
Some have even compared the animal to the mythical Chupacabra, a vampire-like prowler that devours cattle and then drinks their blood.

The bizarre optical illusion has gone viral on social media leaving viewers confused.
It’s been making the rounds on Reddit after a user posted the image with the caption: “I was staring at this dog/goat/pig/chupacabra hybrid that looked like an animal for way too long before I realized it…”
And people on the site were equally confused, with one writing: ‘I see a scary pig. I do not like this.
Another said: “Rarity is in the eye of the beholder.”
While a third put: “It took me many seconds.”
And a fourth added: ‘That’s great, thanks. It took me a while to see it.
While another posted said: “I have it for a second and then it disappears again.”
If you haven’t figured it out, we’ll let you know what it is.
Try turning your phone or head clockwise. The image should start to make sense.
You can see it?
After all, it is not a distorted beast. In fact, it is an upward facing dog, with its ear folded back, making it look like a muzzle.
And what looks like the goat’s ear, with the black tip, is the dog’s nose.
What appears to be a pig’s nose with a ring through it is actually the dog’s ear.
The pup itself is lying with its head turned to the other side of its body, adding to the illusion.
After the mind-bending illusion was explained, Reddit users were grateful.

Villagers believed this strange-looking creature, captured in Ukraine in June 2016, to be the mythical Chupacabra, the vampire-like predator of livestock.

Now do you see? You are looking at a dog… not a goat or a pig.
One person wrote: “Grateful it wasn’t a hybrid.”
And someone else was like, ‘Thanks, I don’t need eye whitener now.’
While another wrote that they can’t get used to seeing the real animal, saying: “Weirdly, unlike most of those things, I keep going back to the initial view even after seeing the real one.”
A second person also said: “The real crazy thing is that even once you see it properly, it still goes right back to being a goat pig.”
